Tiny Skull

I was practicing my skils, recently, working with a silicone.

I took my old "skull" chain:
Took of one of the skulls, cut of the part I didn't want to have, and prepered it:

Than I covered it with silicone, and left for a few days. Than covered it with a gypsum, so that silicon form will stay in place while I'm using it.

Finaly, I've just mixed a gypsum, poured it in a form and left it for a few minutes until it hardened. At the next day it becomes fully dry.

It takes me about five minutes to make one skull.
I want to make about hundred of them and glue them on the streets, in the busses and every where.

At the same day I was working on a Clay Hand, I was also into making a thing, a phonograph horn kinda thing, so that when I put a music playing phone into it, the music sounds three times louder.
Ofcourse it sounds very bad, because music playing out of a phone always sound like crap. but it does sound louder, and that's what I was after at this moment.

A bit similar, isn't it :

Clay Hand

I’ve got a very good mark for this hand on my modeling class.

It’s a lot bigger than a regular hand. It’s about 40 centimeters in length.

A Human Finger

I wasn't really trying to make it look good. I was just fooling around in my Art school.
I've made an exact copy of my thumb out of gypsum.
When I understood that it looks pretty awesome, I have decided to paint it.
That was one of the first thing I've done out of gypsum.

Clay Modeling

Now I study in a the Design and Art School in Riga called RDMV. But before that, I went to the preparatory courses, and I've got a modeling lessons there. So here is some stuff I made during the school year:

maple-leaf

cauliflower

the snail shell

I wasn't taking care of it, so it spoiled. it was much better, I swear :)

apricot pit

doesn't look even. looks like my palm changed a bit during a year.

The Dog

When I was about 10 years old, my mom had some kind of decoration or something in the shape of a dog.
I don't remember why, but I liked how it looks so much, that I made one myself, for me. I made it out of a cardboard, glue and stuff that a 10-year-old boy could find in his room.

Another mini amp

Yet another portable and compact amplifier for listening music while having a picnic or skating in the streets. It's powered with four AA battaries, last for about 20 hours.
It is unfinished project, the painting isn't fully done. But all the electronics are working, giving a great sound.

The volume controls are linear. Each one controls one of the speakers.
So you can control the balance between the left and the right chanels.

McToilet

Me and my friend, we where sitting at the McDonald's, in the summer at about 4:30 in the morning. There were no people in McDonald's, I was bored, but we had to sit there and wait for a train for about three hours. I hadn't got anything with me, but I managed to entertain myself with just a coffee cup, paper bag and my imagination.

As I said,  I hadn't got anything with me. No duct tape or glue used :)

fascinating..

So I left it in McDonald's, on a table just in front of the entrance.
